Woman kidnapped and gang raped before being forced ‘to cook and eat human flesh’ by sick abductors

A WOMAN was allegedly kidnapped and gang raped before being forced to cook and eat human flesh by her sick abductors. The Congolese woman was kidnapped twice by militants and repeatedly raped, the UN Security Council heard. She told how she was asked by her cruel abductors – armed group CODECO – to cook and eat the flesh of a man killed by the militia. Julienne Lusenge, president of the women’s rights group, said the woman had tried to pay a ransom for a kidnapped family member – but she was then kidnapped herself. The horror incident was heard at a Security Council meeting on Congo following a recent flare-up of heavy fighting between the government and rebel groups.
