US Secretary of State Antony Blinken paid an unannounced visit to Kiev on September 8 as the Biden administration unveiled an over $2.8 billion military aid for Europe and Ukraine. Earlier in the day, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced a $675 million package of heavy arms and ammo for Kiev at a conference in Ramstein, Germany.
