WhatsApp Might Soon Let You Set a Profile Cover Photo on iOS

According to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 26.1.10.71, currently available via TestFlight, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to add a cover photo to their personal profiles. This new visual element will appear as a banner image at the top of the profile, sitting above existing details such as the profile picture, name, and status.
