VLADIMIR Putin called his foreign tirade about Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s failure to help in sanctions busting, it’s been claimed. During his rant, the Russian tyrant called his foreign minister an “a******e” as he blamed him for the failure to secure China’s support. China’s President Xi is one of Putin’s closest allies and has failed to condemn his invasion of Ukraine. But there have been reports that Russia has become frustrated at Beijing’s failure to provide financial and technological support subject to sanctions by the US, UK and other countries. According to the General SVR telegram channel, at a recent meeting Putin expressed his personal dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping “in harsh and obscene terms”. Despite China and Russia declaring their “no limits” friendship before the war, Beijing has been reluctant to help Russia evade sanctions.
