Naming the pig “Jixy Pixy”, she said she treated it as a “child”, spoiling it with trips to Wagamama, £400 taxi rides, and even shared a bath with it. She was forced to give up the pig after the RSPCA became aware of what she was doing, and took it to a shelter. Last year, she moved to Warsaw in Poland, where once again she got into trouble for adopting a pig and keeping it in her flat. She has now been arrested in Moscow for similar animal-related offences. Russian media reports that the US citizen was detained by law enforcement officers while walking the calf on Red Square, home to the Kremlin as well as the iconic St Basil’s Cathedral.
