FIVE more Iranian “death squad” plots to kill Brits have been rumbled in just four months. The UK government warned the threat from Iran has increased. Intelligence officials said there have been 15 credible threats from the Iranian regime to kill or kidnap Brits since 2022. In November, MI5 Director General Ken McCallum revealed there had been at least 10 potential plots “to kidnap or even kill” British citizens and dissidents seen as enemies of the Tehran regime. It means there five more plots have been rumbled in the last four months.
