Ukraine war news latest: Crazed Putin pledges to destroy new Ukrainian weapons as ‘10,000 graves’ discovered in Mariupol

PUTIN has warned US supplies of “outdated” Patriot missiles to Ukraine will not deter Russia from achieving its military goals. On Wednesday, the Biden administration announced $1.85bn (£1.54bn) in new military support to Kyiv, including for the first time, the delivery of Patriot missiles. Now, Russia’s brutal dictator has dismissed this aid, claiming his army will easily destroy the US missiles. “The Patriot is quite an outdated system,” he said. “Let them supply them – we’ll destroy them as well.” This comes as The Associated Press has estimated at least 10,300 new graves in and around Mariupol have been dug since March in another example of the Kremlin’s brutality. This estimated figure comes after the AP analysed satellite imagery from early March through December, noting sections where the earth had been disturbed.
