THE INTERNATIONAL Atomic Energy Agency have said there is an “urgent need” for action at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The report said the continued shelling throughout the Ukraine and Russia war could have caused “safety significant impacts, loss of lives and personnel injuries”. It warned the situation presented at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is a “constant threat to nuclear safety and security”. It comes as Putin has approved a new foreign policy doctrine based around the frightening concept of a “Russian World”. The 31-page “humanitarian policy”, published more than six months into the war in Ukraine, says Russia should “protect, safeguard and advance the traditions and ideals of the Russian World”.
