Ukraine war latest: Angry Vladimir Putin DEMANDS end to sanctions as despot responds by cutting off Europe’s gas supply

A SENIOR aide to Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday posted an image of soldiers raising the Ukrainian flag in a recaptured village. Vysokopillya village in Kherson, which was overthrown by Russians, has been reclaimed by Ukrainian forces after a week of fierce fighting. “Vysokopillya. Kherson region. Ukraine. Today,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the president’s office, wrote in a Facebook post over a photo of three soldiers on rooftops, one of them fixing a Ukrainian flag to a post. Ukrainian soldiers were photographed flying the nation’s flag on a telephone mast, a signal to Russia that Ukraine is a force to be reckoned with. James Rushton, British military analyst based in Ukraine, shared a video on Twitter which he said showed Ukrainian forces had forced Russians out of their camps.
