MADMAN Vladimir Putin has declared martial law in the four regions of Ukraine that Russia has proclaimed as annexed The regions under martial law are Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia – giving Kremlin tighter control in the occupied areas ravaged by the Ukraine war. Meanwhile, Putin ordered tens of thousands to flee an occupied region – prompting fears the “battle for Kherson will begin”. The Russian-installed chief of the southern occupied Ukrainian region said around 50,000-60,000 people will be evacuated over six days, according to reports from the state state-run TASS news agency. “In the very near future, the battle for Kherson will begin,” Kirill Stremousov, installed administrator for the region, said last night.
