Ukraine news latest — US accuses Russian jet of DOWNING drone near war zone as UK says Putin ‘should respect airpsace’

VLADIMIR Putin has been warned to “respect international airspace” by the UK after a Russian fighter jet collided with a US drone. The drone was taken down while flying over the Black Sea near Russian occupied Crimea and the Ukraine frontline. A Russian Su-27 jet struck the propeller of the MQ-9 Reaper drone resulting in it crash landing in the sea and its loss, the US European Command said. In response to the incident, British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace urged Moscow to respect international airspace.
