THE Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant has reportedly been shelled “15 times” in the last two days – with chiefs warning it could end in disaster. According to Russian officials, Ukraine has continued to shell the Zaporizhzhia plant, with 15 missiles hitting the power station this weekend – but Ukraine claims Russia is responsible for the attacks. IAEA’s head Rafael Grossi warned continuous attacks on the nuclear station during the Ukraine war risk triggering a major nuclear disaster. “Explosions occurred at the site of this major nuclear power plant, which is completely unacceptable.” Mr Grossi added: “Whoever is behind this, it must stop immediately.
