THE UK has vowed to ramp-up military support to Ukraine despite Vladimir Putin’s threat that British tanks “will burn”. Rishi Sunak confirmed on Twitter that the UK would be “accelerating our support to Ukraine with the most significant UK package of combat power to date.” Following the announcement that the UK would supply Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine, Moscow’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov claimed “these tanks are burning and will burn just like the rest”.
