THE West has warned China NOT to support Russia’s brutal war in Ukraine – as Putin reportedly helps China to develop deadly nuclear weapons. UK prime minister Rishi Sunak confirmed he and Mr Macron wanted to order China and other countries “not to be providing support to Russia” following its bloody invasion of Ukraine. The Prime Minister said he would be discussing the West’s approach to Beijing ahead of the French president’s visit to China, a trip he said was due to happen soon. It comes as the US warned Putin is delivering highenriched uranium that is fuelling China’s race to match the nuclear arsenal of the United States. The Times reports how President Xi Jinping’s military chiefs are seeking nuclear parity with Washington by increasing the number of nuclear warheads from the current estimated 350 to 400 to 1,500 by 2035.
