THE UK could be prepared to take the Russia-Ukraine conflict to the next level as “talks are ongoing” about further support. According to reports, the UK is considering supplying Ukrainian forces with British Army Challenger 2 main battle tanks for the first time. A senior UK defence source told the PA news agency: “These conversations have been taking place. The talks are ongoing.” However, some allies have displayed concerns over the reaction in Moscow if they were to supply tanks to Kyiv forces.
