Ukraine news latest: ‘Strong decisions’ expected by Zelensky as NATO leaders will meet to discuss boosting military aid

PRESIDENT Volodymyr Zelensky is expecting “strong decisions” from defence leaders of NATO as they meet today to discuss bolstering military support. In his nightly address, Zelensky said “now we are waiting for a decision from one European capital that will activate the prepared chains of cooperation on tanks.” Germany currently faces mounting pressure to allow its highly regarded Leopard tanks to be sent over to Ukraine. Over 50 countries are due to meet at the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany’s south-west to discuss further military support for Ukraine to defeat Putin’s Russia. It comes as the tyrant is “considering a high risk” move that will involve the introduction of advanced Russian T-14 super tanks, the UK’s Ministry of Defence has claimed.
