OVER 8,000 civilians have been killed since Putin launched his bloodthirsty invasion of Ukraine one year ago today. As the world marks the anniversary of Russia’s brutal war in Ukraine, The Kyiv Independent outlined some of the most shocking statistics to arise from the conflict. According to the publication, 8,006 civilians have died as a result of Russian aggression, 461 of which were children. This comes as Zelensky, speaking at an anniversary press conference in Kyiv, looked back on his most “difficult” moment of the last year. He said: “Bucha. The moment we de-occupied Bucha. What I saw.
