VLADIMIR Putin has suffered fresh humiliation as Russia’s flagship IKEA store has burned to the ground in a suspected arson attack. The mega shopping centre in Khimki was engulfed by the blaze leading to the collapse of part of the structure. Emergency services have confirmed that 70 firefighters and 20 fire trucks were working at the site where one person has been confirmed to have died. Russian reports have claimed that an explosion led to the huge inferno and Russia’s Investigative Committee, which probes major crimes, said it was looking into the cause of the fire, which may suggest it could be linked to the ongoing war in Ukraine. It comes as Russian forces shelled the entire front line in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine yesterday according to Ukrainian officials.
