Ukraine news latest — Putin under threat as Biden pledges to send missiles to Zelensky during surprise visit to Kyiv

JOE Biden sent a warning to Vladimir Putin today as the US president made a surprise visit to Kyiv. Mr Biden arrived in the capital this morning – his first visit to the war-torn country since the Ukraine war broke out in February last year. The president and Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed long-range weapons and a new military aid package. Speaking after the pair held talks, Mr Zelenskyy said the military support will be worth $500m, and details will be announced on Tuesday.  It comes after speculation this morning that a high-ranking Western official might be visiting the capital.  Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
