VLADIMIR Putin sent a chilling threat to the West for supplying arms to Ukraine – but more defiant allies have pledged to send military aid. Speaking at an event to commemorate the Soviet victory over Nazi forces in Stalingrad, bloodthirsty dictator Putin slammed Germany’s decision to provide Ukraine with tank support. The warmonger also sent a thinly veiled threat to the west, adding that Russia has an “answer” to any country that threatens it, adding: “It’s unbelievable but true. We are again being threatened by German Leopard tanks,” It comes as Portugal this weekend joined Spain and other western allies committing to sending swathes of tank support to the under-siege nation – with Britain dedicating an entire squadron of Challenger 2 tanks. President Joe Biden last week announced the US would follow Germany and send 31 advanced M1 Abrams tanks worth more than £300 million to Ukraine, as part of the Western effort to support Kyiv.
