A RUSSIAN-INSTALLED official in southern Ukraine has claimed that Moscow will likely pull its troops from the west bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson as forces suffer “low morale”. Kirill Stremousov, the Russian-installed official of the Kherson region told Solovyov Live on Thursday: “Most likely our units, our soldiers, will leave for the left (eastern) bank.” However, a spokesperson for Ukraine’s southern military command, said it could be a Russian trap allowing for “street battles”. Natalia Humeniuk said: “This could be a manifestation of a particular provocation, in order to create the impression that the settlements are abandoned, that it is safe to enter them, while they are preparing for street battles.” It comes as Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Putin of “energy terrorism” after 4.5 million Ukrainians were left without power following Russia’s attacks on the energy network.
