VLADIMIR Putin’s forces are riddled with “poor leadership and cover-up culture” according to the UK’s Ministry of Defence. In their latest intelligence update, the UK’s Ministry of Defence revealed that Russian forces “remain riven by poor junior and mid-level leadership and cover-up culture”. The Ministry added: “In recent months two companies subordinate to the Eastern Military District fled after their commander was killed. Other officers likely lied in an attempt to cover up the incident.” It comes as Rishi Sunak revealed that the UK would pledge a further £50 million to help bolster Ukraine’s defence against Putin’s brutal war.
