Ukraine news latest — Putin orders troops to advance in ‘most sectors’ despite suffering thousands of losses says UK MoD

Putin has ordered his troops across Ukraine to advance, despite facing massive losses, reports the British Ministry of Defence. Russia’s bloodthirsty dictator has called on his soldiers to push forward, in spite of heavy casualties, but the Kremlin’s troops are struggling to make significant gains. Russian advancements have been seen in Luhansk and the Donbas but Ukraine’s troops are reportedly standing strong. The British MoD said: “Overall, the current operational picture suggests that Russian forces are being given orders to advance in most sectors, but that they have not massed sufficient offensive combat power on any one axis to achieve a decisive effect.” This comes amid warnings from Nato chiefs that Putin’s new offensive has “already begun.” Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
