Ukraine news latest: Putin launches ‘120 missile strikes’ at Ukrainian targets leaving 90% of key city without power

RUSSIA launched “waves” of missile strikes on multiple regions of Ukraine – leaving nearly a whole city’s population without power. Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said Russia launched over 120 missiles as the Kremlin steps up air raids in its invasion of Ukraine. Russia dispatched explosive drones to selected regions overnight before broadening the barrage with air and sea-based cruise missiles launched from strategic aircraft. But Lviv suffered most from the attacks, with a mass outage leaving 90% of the city currently without power – with the city’s mayor adding the water supply could possibly be interrupted.
