VLADIMIR Putin is “staying in bunkers” to avoid assassination after becoming “pathologically afraid for his own life” according to a former protection officer of the president. In an interview with Dossier, Gleb Karakulov a Russian defect claimed Vladimir Putin spent the last few years living in an “information cocoon”. Gleb said Putin had “lost touch with the world” as the Ukraine war rages on and is living in “an information cocoon for the past couple of years, spending most of his time in his residences, which the media very fittingly call bunkers.” He added: “I can tell you that I went on many business trips with him, and he went on many trips before 2020. After that he stayed in his bunker and maybe made just one, maximum, three business trips a year. “Given the fact that there had been many business trips, only one or two were cancelled because of his health.” Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
