VLADIMIR Putin has vowed to “systematically” press on with Moscow’s offensive in Ukraine, as he gave his state of the nation address. The Russian president began his state of the nation address today ahead of the first anniversary of Moscow’s war in Ukraine – and promised the Kremlin would not cave in. “Step by step, we will carefully and systematically solve the aims that face us,” Putin said ahead of the first anniversary of the military intervention. In his speech. he accused the Kyiv “regime” of providing artillery and other weapons to attack the Donbas back in 2014 and 2015 and they “continued shelling terror”.  He added: “They started the war and we used force to stop it.” Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
