Ukraine news latest — Putin and Xi Jinping to give statements as Russian cruise missile shipment destroyed in Crimea

RUSSIA’S Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping will give statements today as the two leaders engage in a second round of talks in Moscow. The Chinese president arrived on Monday morning for a round of negotiations with Putin with the Russian leader desperate for aid in his bloodthirsty invasion of Ukraine. Speaking in the “informal” meeting, the Russian dictator bizarrely referred to the brutal war as an “acute crisis” as he told his Chinese counterpart that he welcomed the plan to settle the war in Ukraine. Following their meeting, the Ukrainian military shared footage of an explosion in the Crimean city of Dzhankoi which destroyed Russian cruise missiles intended for use by Moscow’s Black Sea fleet. Putin and Xi Jinping will engage in a second round of talks today, following which both leaders will release statements outlining Moscow and Beijing’s plans for joint corporation.
