VLADIMIR Putin has been accused of “genocidal energy attacks” today, as the Kremlin continues to bombard Ukraine’s infrastructure. The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak, took to Twitter to slam the Russian dictator’s brutal attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure amid a freezing winter. He wrote: “Putin’s classic triad, or the Kremlin’s bets for this winter: 1. Genocidal energy attacks to leave millions without electricity and cause a flood of refugees. 2. An information campaign about the need for a ceasefire to end suffering. 3. Nuclear intimidation in case of defeat.” Meanwhile, whilst speaking about the prospect of a nuclear war, Putin warned that the “threat is growing, it would be wrong to hide it.” The Russian leader added: “We have not gone mad, we are aware of what nuclear weapons are. We aren’t about to run around the world brandishing this weapon like a razor.” Read our Ukraine-Russia live blog below for the latest news…
