AT least two people have died after what were believed to be Russian missiles hit a farm in Poland on Tuesday. However, throughout today reports have emerged that the missile was likely to be part of Ukraine’s air defence system, which, in an “unfortunate accident,” was used to shoot down a Russian missile before landing in Poland. Despite the attack not being a purposeful provocation by the Kremlin, NATO has said “ultimately, Russia bears responsibility” for starting its brutal invasion of Ukraine.
