THE PENTAGON is investigating a leak of US and NATO files after plans to help prepare Ukraine for a spring offensive were revealed on social media, reports claim. According to reports from the New York Times, US and NATO documents were found on Twitter and Telegram and reports claim they contained charts and details about weapons deliveries, battalion strengths and other sensitive information. Deputy Press Secretary of the US Department of Defence Sabrina Singh said: “We are aware of the reports of social media posts, and the Department is reviewing the matter.” It comes as China’s Xi Jinping has been urged to “bring Russia to its senses” by French President Emmanuel Macron as nuclear tensions rise. This call for peace comes following a string of nuclear threats by the Kremlin since Russia’s brutal dictator, Vladimir Putin, launched his bloodthirsty invasion of Ukraine last year.
