Ukraine news latest — Oscars ‘reject Zelensky’s pleas to appear at award show’ as Russia’s war on Kyiv rages

THE Oscars has reportedly rejected President Zelensky’s bid to appear at the award show for a second year in a row, sources claim. Sources say agent Mike Simpson made a plea to the Academy to include the Ukrainian leader, but this was shut down despite pleas from various members. The Academy declined to comment on the matter.  It comes as the war on Kyiv rages on after Russia launched a mass missile strike across the nation.
