Ukraine news latest: Kyiv reacts to Putin’s Christmas ceasefire & tyrant’s evil forces using ‘dead bodies as shields’

VLADIMIR Putin’s forces are claimed to have been using “dead bodies as shields” on battlefields according to Ukraine’s Major General. Major General, Kyrylo Budanov told ABC News: “There are hundreds of dead bodies just rotting away in the open field, in places they are piled on top of other bodies like makeshift walls, when Russian troops attack on that field they use those bodies for cover, like a shield.” It comes as Putin has announced a ceasefire, succumbing to a religious leader’s demands. An official statement from the Kremlin posted on the Telegram app read: “Taking into account the appeal of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, I instruct the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation to introduce from 12:00 January 6, 2023 until 24:00 January 7, 2023, a ceasefire along the entire line of contact between the parties in Ukraine.” Ukrainian officials have described the proposal as “hypocrisy” and demanded that Russia “must leave the occupied territories – only then will it have a ‘temporary truce’”.
