UKRAINE has claimed that Vladimir Putin is planning a major ground offensive in the new year despite the tyrant’s recent humiliating setbacks. Volodymyr Zelensky and many senior Ukrainian officials have claimed that Russia’s offensive could come in the eastern Donbas region. Ukraine’s Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov told the Guardian: “The second part of the mobilisation, 150,000 approximately… do a minimum of three months to prepare. It means they are trying to start the next wave of the offensive probably in February, like last year. That’s their plan,” “The Kremlin is trying to find new solutions [for] how to get the victory,” he added. It comes as the UK’s Ministry of Defence has claimed in their latest intelligence update that Russian forces have been establishing defensive positions that are likely to be “vulnerable to modern, precision indirect strikes”.
