UKRAINIAN officials have dismissed Russia’s claims that “600 servicemen were killed” in revenge for a deadly attack on Putin’s forces, branding them ‘propaganda.’ On Sunday, Russia’s ministry of defence claimed to have launched a missile strike on two buildings temporarily housing 1,300 Ukrainian troops in eastern Ukraine, killing 600. However, the allegations were quickly dismissed by the Ukrainian military, with spokesperson Sergiy Cherevatyi, telling the BBC that Putin’s claims are simply “propaganda.” This comes as reporters from Reuters visited the scene of the alleged strikes and found no evidence an attack had taken place.
