Ukraine news latest: Humiliation for Putin as he admits facing ‘difficult’ situation in annexed regions

VLADIMIR Putin has been left humiliated after admitting to facing a “difficult” situation in annexed regions of Ukraine. Speaking at a televised meeting with officials, Vladimir Putin claimed the situation in the areas of Ukraine that Russia has annexed is “difficult in places”. The Tyrant added that he had all the resources to improve life in the four Ukrainian regions. It comes as Ukraine claims Putin is plotting a new escalation of the war amid claims Russian mercenaries have captured a key city. Volodymyr Zelensky claimed in his nightly address that a “new level of modern military equipment” was needed now more than ever as “Russia is gathering forces for another escalation” of Putin’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
