FORMER Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has warned of a “nuclear apocalypse” due to the constant arms supply to Ukraine. In a video shared to his Telegram, Mr Medvedev said: “Has the threat of a nuclear conflict passed? No, it has not passed. It has increased. Each day when foreign weapons are delivered to Ukraine ultimately brings this same nuclear apocalypse closer.” It comes as a Russian-state TV host and ally of Vladimir Putin has threatened an “immediate nuclear strike” on any country that tries to detain the Russian dictator. Vladimir Solovyov referenced a statement made by Germany’s Justice Minister, Marco Buschmann in which he said: “Germany will be obliged to arrest Putin if he enters German territory and hand him over to the ICC”. In response to the statement, Solovyov shouted: “It calls for an immediate nuclear strike on that country! Immediate! That’s to say, any attempt to do it, to go against the will of the Russian people, which has made itself very clear, must result in a missile strike!” Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
