VLADIMIR Putin could be secretly laying a trap for Ukrainian troops in Kherson as Russia retreats from the city, a Zelensky advisor has said. Mykhailo Podolyak, one of President Zelensky’s advisors, believes Russia could actually be sending in reinforcements as Putin appears to lose his grip on the Ukraine war. “Actions speak louder than words,” he tweeted. “Ukraine will liberate territories based on intelligence data, not staged TV statements.” Ukrainian troops claim they recaptured the town of Snihurivka in southern Mykolaiv region from Russian forces, speaking in video footage published on social media and by Ukrainian national television. It comes as Ukraine yesterday released new video footage on Twitter showing the moment its forces launched a deadly US javelin missile on Russian tanks.
