VLADIMIR Putin has been accused of planning to “blow-up a major dam” at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in Kherson creating a “historical disaster” by Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky told the European Council: “If Russian terrorists blow up this dam, more than 80 settlements, including Kherson, will be in the zone of rapid flooding. “Hundreds of thousands of people can fall victim to it.” Putin ordered tens of thousands to flee the region – prompting fears the “battle for Kherson will begin”. The Kremlin-installed chief of the southern occupied Ukrainian region said around 50,000-60,000 people will be evacuated over six days, according to reports from the state state-run TASS news agency.
