THE British Ministry of Defence has slammed Vladimir Putin for “deflecting blame” as Russian losses near 100,000. In its daily briefing, the MoD accused Putin of shifting the blame for his bloodthirsty war onto other Russian officials. The statement described a televised meeting between the dictator and the Kremlin’s top brass and said: “This display likely aimed to deflect Putin’s responsibility for military failure, high fatality rates and increasing public dissatisfaction from mobilisation. “The televised footage was probably designed to also dispel social media rumours of General Gerasimov’s dismissal.” This comes as Ukrainian military sources reported losses reached 99,230 as Putin’s bloodthirsty invasion hit its 300th day.
