RUSSIA has called on North Korea to fuel its brutal war in Ukraine in a deal that would see Moscow trade food for weapons, the White House has claimed. Russia’s desperate dictator Vladimir Putin is reportedly seeking to cut a deal with his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong-un, as the Kremlin searches for allies among so-called “rogue” nations. “As part of this proposed deal, Russia would receive over two dozen kinds of weapons and munitions from Pyongyang,” White House national security council spokesman John Kirby said on Thursday, reports the Guardian. “We also understand that Russia is seeking to send a delegation to North Korea and that Russia is offering North Korea food in exchange for munitions.” This comes as Ukraine marks one year since the discovery of the massacre in Bucha in which 461 civilian bodies were discovered in a mass grave after the city was liberated.
