Ukraine news latest — British PM to stress how West must provide ‘advanced, Nato-standard capabilities’ to beat Russia

RISHI SUNAK will urge Western allies to provide Ukraine with “military support” to “prove” Russian president Vladimir Putin “wrong.” On Saturday Morning, the British PM boarded a flight to Germany to attend the Munich security conference in which he will give a speech and meet with other leaders. Sunak said: “When Putin started this war, he gambled that our resolve would falter. Even now he is betting we will lose our nerve. But we proved him wrong then, and we will prove him wrong now. “We need to do more to boost Ukraine’s long-term security.
