Ukraine news latest — Biden says ICC’s arrest warrent for Vladimir Putin is ‘justified’ and ‘makes a strong point’

PRESIDENT BIDEN believes that the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) arrest warrent for Vladimir Putin is “justified” and “it makes a very strong point.” However, he also pointed out how the Court doesn’t affect the US as it is not an affiliating country, nor is Russia, so the Putin can’t be arrested while in Moscow. However, if he travels to an ICC member country and the government chooses to cooperate, efforts to arrest Putin can be made and he will be taken to court at The Hague in The Netherlands. Biden proceeded to tell reporters that Putin “clearly committed war crimes” after vice-president Kamala Harris accused the Russian president in February of “gruesome acts of murder, torture, rape and deportation.” Moscow has denied the allegation and deemed the warrant as “outrageous.” Read our Ukraine war blog below for the latest news…
