Ukraine Conflict Affects African Countries Negatively, Kenyan President Says at UNGA

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine in February in response to calls by the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics for protection from Ukrainian troops. After the start of Russia's special military operation, the West has stepped up sanctions pressure on Russia, which has led to global increase in prices for energy and food.
