TWO NHS nurses have been killed in a horror car crash while visiting the Grand Canyon on a dream US road trip. Tatiana Brandão, 30, and Raquel Moreira, 28, are understood to have been killed instantly when their Jeep smashed into a bus. They had posted pictures of their travels in the days before the horror crash on January 27. The “kind and talented” nurses worked together after moving to the UK from their home country Portugal. According to reports, their Jeep crashed into a bus on a state road in Arizona which serves as the main road into the Grand Canyon. Tatiana and Raquel were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Tatiana’s mother-in-law and partner were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. A video posted on social media by Raquel just two days before the crash shows the pair smiling and laughing as they visited Hollywood and Universal Studios.
