He was pronounced dead on arrival to the Alif Alif Atoll hospital on the island. A a 46-year-old Brit man died just yesterday in similar circumstances at the popular Hammerhead Shark Point. He was diving at the site off the coast of the atoll of Rasdhoo at 9.12am when he tragically drowned. The man was rushed to a local hospital but was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.
