Top US Epidemiologist Fears Omicron May Overwhelm Hospitals

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Chief US epidemiologist Anthony Fauci said Sunday that a wave of infections unleashed by the Omicron coronavirus variant might override benefits of a dip in its severity, eventually overwhelming hospitals.
