BEACHES have been shut after at three sharks were spotted less than a mile from the coast of a Spanish holiday hotspot. Authorities were forced to ban swimming on five beaches in Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú near Barcelona. Earlier the Sant Gervasi beach was closed after two blue sharks were spotted but reopened later.
