Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC to Feature Similar Architecture as Flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, Tipster Claims

Qualcomm is all set to host its annual Snapdragon Summit 2025 next month, where it is expected to showcase the successor to the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, one more flagship-level processor could also be introduced. As per a tipster, a purported Qualcomm SoC, dubbed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, is also in development. It is said to share its architecture with the proprietary Oryon CPU that was introduced with the Snapdragon 8 Elite at the Snapdragon Summit last year.
