The terrifying incident was caught on camera in Ecatepec de Morelos, Mexico. But as soon as he spots the two thugs, the boyfriend suddenly takes off and flees down the street – leaving his girlfriend on her own. The shocking footage soon went viral on social media – with many slamming the coward boyfriend for abandoning his girlfriend. But, due to the soaring crime rate in the area, others said he did the right thing by running away from the dangerous thugs. Ecatepec is known for the “Monsters of Ecatepec” – the name given to a serial killer couple, Juan Carlos Hernández and Patricia Martínez.
