Schoolboy, 13, killed after teacher ‘beats him up’ over ‘unpaid fees’ in Nepal

A 13-YEAR-old boy has died after he was allegedly beaten by his teacher over pending school fees, his family claim. Chrijesh Vishwakarma, who studied at Pandit Brahma Dutt school in Chailahi, Nepal, passed away in hospital on Wednesday – roughly a week after the alleged assault took place. Chrijesh was soon taken to a local district hospital in neighbouring India where he later passed away. His uncle, Shiv Kumar, claims that Chrijesh had sustained the injuries after being “thrashed” by his schoolteacher over unpaid fees. “On August 8, Chrijesh returned home with a bleeding nose and swollen face.
